22 Best web sites for Teachers
These days I've been amply writing about teachers'professional development through the digital age. This is so for two main reasons;the first reason is that Internet is an indispensable education resource, and the second one is that there seems to be insufficient training for teacher trainees especially EFL ones.Today's post is also an important aspect of teachers'professional development. It's about great and reliable educational websites teachers should bookmark. The list below is of course not comprehensive. If you know any other good educational website not listed here, you are most welcome to share with me.

This website has got an online questionnaire enabling teachers to reflect upon their practice in accordance with the Standards. This should be a very useful and valuable exercise for any teacher to perform. From what I can gather with information available on the website, reflecting on your practice will eventually lead to creating an online e-portfolio, which is very handy to have when job hunting. Our May 16th webinar with PL Press author Kathy Cassidy was a sellout! Thanks to all the educators in the diverse international audience for the great questions and lively chat stream as Kathy talked about her blogging and digital portfolio strategies with primary-aged students.
The 100 available seats in Blackboard Collaborate were quickly filled (and refilled each time someone dropped off or had to leave early). In the audience were teachers and other educators from across the grade spectrum. We heard from folks in Australia, the Far East, the Carribean, South America, Great Britain and Europe, as well as Canada and the United States. Connected learning knows no boundaries!
